Just got word from Microsoft support - They have advised the following
"It is indeed a global concern affecting both Microsoft and Avast users. Our teams are actively monitoring the situation, and we appreciate your patience.
Avast has already released an update to address this issue. To stay informed about the progress, you have a couple of options:
- Contact Avast Support: You can reach out to Avast’s support team directly. They will provide you with the most up-to-date information and guide you through any necessary steps.
2. Automated Update: Alternatively, you can wait for the automated update. Our developers are diligently working to resolve the issue, and we anticipate that the fix will be rolled out soon."
