Same story here, is there any update on it or is it even coming sooner or later?
Cannot switch Teams-Accounts on Linux
Setup
My organisation has two Teams-domains for the users - in one I have full rights, i.e., can create channels etc, and in the other I am a guest (another usergroup has full rights in this domain). For each domain I have a distinct account, and I can normally easily switch between them.
Problem
Since last week I am unable to switch between the two accounts on Linux. When selecting the account for the guest-domain, the Teams client restarts, but with the same account. However, sometimes it briefly starts with the account I want to switch to before restarting in the other account.
Attempted Solutions
I also have a Windows machine where everything works flawlessly. The web-client under Linux works as well. Therefore, I think it is a problem with the client. I tried reinstalling, with no success.
Edit:
System
Elementary OS 5.1 (based on Ubuntu 18.04) with Teams 1.4.00.7556 (64-Bit).

I just want to add that I have done some testing and finally got it working normally and able to chang organizations.
I had an old version installed on another computer where it was able to switching between organizations. So I copied the following folders before installing the latest version on the second computer.
/home/$USER/.config/teams/*
/home/$USER/.config/Microsoft/*
/home/$USER/.config/Microsoft Teams - Preview / *If it doesn't work for you, you can also try changing the permissions of the content of the directories:
For instance:
chmod 777 -R /home/$USER/.config/teams/
...I have them like this, but I don't know if it works for that reason.
I was careful to keep username and permissions on both computers the same.
I hope it help you.
