We cannot use the Microsoft SFTP with our application due to the excessive password length. I strongly suggest Microsoft provides an alternative. For our particular case the limit was 80 (!) chars and yet alas that's still 8 chars too little for Microsoft's security :|
Change sFTP password length of 88 characters
Hello, I hope you can help me.
I enabled sFTP on an Azure Blob Storage Container. But the SSH password that is created by default is 88 characters.
The usage of this sFTP is to load photos taken by an IP camera, but this camera accepts a password of max. 16 characters. I am sure there are other devices that have this limitation.
In the Azure Portal I dont see options to manually change this password. What are my alternatives? Thank you!

We are facing the same issue , our vendor is not supporting SFTP passwords with a lengths > 50 chars . So we are not able to use the Azure SFTP solution -
