    Based on dynamic quorum, it is enough that have one is running.

    Hey,

    It depends on your shared storage and cluster configuration. As mentioned, 4 node cluster can sustain loss of up to 3 nodes. It is recommended to have a witness configured for 4 node cluster. https://www.starwindsoftware.com/blog/understand-failover-cluster-quorum

    S2D will sustain loss of 2 nodes in both scenarios 4 and 5 nodes. https://video2.skills-academy.com/en-us/azure-stack/hci/concepts/fault-tolerance

    It still depends on amount of CPU and RAM resources your VMs require.
