Called after PrepareForExecute(), and before PrimeOutput(Int32, Int32, IDTSBuffer100) and ProcessInput(Int32, IDTSBuffer100). The developer can supply code that executes once before the component performs its main processing.

void PreExecute();

Public Sub PreExecute ()

Remarks
Component developers should factor as much functionality into PreExecute as possible because it is called only once per component execution, unlike ProcessInput, which is called once for each input buffer. Components should locate the indexes of their input and output columns in the IDTSBuffer100 by calling the FindColumnByLineageID method of the BufferManager.
