Project Management Cross company data sharing
Cross company data sharing fills the gap between AX 2009, AX 2012, and Microsoft Dynamics 365 finance and operations apps. Virtual company setup information sharing was possible in earlier versions but removed from finance and operations apps, causing upgrade issues. Now, Project Operations tables support virtual companies finance and operations apps as part of a global release.		 Tables supported for duplicate record data sharing.

Removed and deprecated features

The Removed or deprecated features in Project Operations article describes features that have been removed or deprecated for Dynamics 365 Project Operations.

  • A removed feature is no longer available in the product.
  • A deprecated feature isn't in active development and might be removed in a future update.

A deprecation announcement appears in the Removed or deprecated features in Project Operations article 12 months before any feature is removed from the product.

For breaking changes that only affect compilation time, but are binary compatible with sandbox and production environments, the deprecation time is less than 12 months. Typically, these changes are functional updates that must be made to the compiler.
