Property Value

The number of bytes in the framed record.

Remarks

When writing, this property specifies the payload length in bytes of the framed record, or -1 if the record is chunked. The property does not give the actual size if the payload is chunked. When reading, this property indicates the length of the payload as specified in the framed record header.

Thread Safety

Any public static (Shared in Visual Basic) members of this type are thread safe. Any instance members are not guaranteed to be thread safe.
