Exclude Warranty Field, Service Line Table

Specifies that the warranty discount is excluded on the current service line. This field is used if the Type field is set to Item or Resource.

If you select the Blank or Cost option in the Type field of the service line, you will not be able to insert a check mark in this field. Warranty can not be applied to lines of these types.

If the Fault Reason Code field for the service line excludes warranty discount on services, the program automatically inserts a check mark in this field. Note that in this case you cannot remove the check mark manually.

If you insert a check mark in this field, the program removes the check mark from the Warranty field. Note that if you remove the check mark from the Exclude Warranty field, the program inserts the check mark in the Warranty field.
