Strokes.Dispose Method

Strokes.Dispose Method

Releases the unmanaged resources used by the Strokes collection and optionally releases the managed resources.

Definition

Visual Basic .NET Overridable Protected Sub Dispose( _
ByVal disposing As Boolean _
)
C# protected virtual void Dispose(
bool disposing
);
Managed C++ protected: virtual void Dispose(
bool *disposing
);

Parameters

disposing System.Boolean. Set to true to release both managed and unmanaged resources; false to release only unmanaged resources.

Remarks

This method is called by the public Dispose() method and the Finalize method. The Dispose() method invokes the protected Dispose(Boolean) method with the disposing parameter set to true. The Finalize method invokes the Dispose(Boolean) method with the disposing parameter set to false.

When the disposing parameter is set to true, this method releases all resources held by any managed objects that this Strokes collection references. The Dispose(Boolean) method does this by invoking the Dispose Leave Site method of each referenced object that implements IDisposable Leave Site.

Note: to Inheritors The Dispose method can be called multiple times by other objects. When overriding Dispose(Boolean), be careful not to reference objects that have been previously disposed of in an earlier call to Dispose. For more information about how to implement Dispose(Boolean), see Implementing a Dispose Method Leave Site.
