Adding a New Environment Variable for Multiple XIP Support

After you have created a configuration for your image, you must add the IMGMULTIBIN environment variable that is required to build a multiple XIP image.

To add a new environment variable for multiple XIP support

  1. From the Platform menu, choose Settings.

  2. Choose the Environment tab, and then choose New.

  3. In the Variable Name box, type IMGMULTIBIN.

  4. In the Variable Value box, type 1, and then choose OK.

  5. To close the Platform Settings dialog box and save your changes, choose OK.

  6. From the Build menu, choose Build Platform.

    The build process takes several minutes to complete.
