Remarques

Cet événement est utilisé conjointement avec System.ConsoleCancelEventHandler et System.ConsoleCancelEventArgs. L’événement CancelKeyPress permet à une application console d’intercepter le signal Ctrl+C afin que le gestionnaire d’événements puisse décider de poursuivre l’exécution ou de se terminer. Lorsque l’utilisateur appuie sur Ctrl+C ou Ctrl+Arrêt, l’événement CancelKeyPress est déclenché et le gestionnaire d’événements de ConsoleCancelEventHandler l’application est exécuté. Le gestionnaire d’événements est transmis à un ConsoleCancelEventArgs objet qui a deux propriétés utiles :

  • SpecialKey, qui vous permet de déterminer si le gestionnaire a été appelé à la suite d’un appui de l’utilisateur sur Ctrl+C (la valeur de la propriété est ConsoleSpecialKey.ControlC) ou Ctrl+Break (la valeur de la propriété est ConsoleSpecialKey.ControlBreak).

  • Cancel, ce qui vous permet de déterminer comment votre application doit répondre à l’utilisateur appuyant sur Ctrl+C ou Ctrl+Arrêt. Par défaut, la Cancel propriété est false, ce qui entraîne l’arrêt de l’exécution du programme lorsque le gestionnaire d’événements se ferme. La modification de sa propriété en true spécifie que l’application doit continuer à s’exécuter.

Conseil

Si votre application a des exigences simples, vous pouvez utiliser la propriété à la TreatControlCAsInput place de cet événement. En définissant cette propriété sur false, vous pouvez vous assurer que votre application se ferme toujours si l’utilisateur appuie sur Ctrl+C. En la définissant sur true, vous pouvez vous assurer qu’en appuyant sur Ctrl+C, l’application ne sera pas arrêtée.

Le gestionnaire d’événements pour cet événement est exécuté sur un thread de pool de threads.
