Nell'esempio di codice seguente viene illustrata una pagina ASP.NET che gestisce i profili inattivi. Il DeleteProfile metodo viene chiamato quando viene selezionato un singolo profilo da eliminare. Commenti

Il DeleteProfile metodo elimina tutte le informazioni e le proprietà del profilo per il profilo utente per l'oggetto specificato username dall'origine dati per l'oggetto specificato ApplicationName.

Il DeleteProfile metodo chiama il DeleteProfiles metodo del provider di profili predefinito per eseguire l'operazione di eliminazione. Il provider di profili predefinito viene specificato usando l'attributo defaultProvider dell'elemento di configurazione del profilo . Se il profilo utente contiene proprietà gestite da un provider di profili diverso dal provider predefinito, non vengono eliminate. Per eliminare le proprietà del profilo gestite da un provider di profili diverso dal provider predefinito, ottenere un riferimento al provider di profili usando la Providers proprietà e chiamare direttamente il DeleteProfiles metodo del provider.
