Utilizzare la DataKeyField proprietà per specificare il campo chiave nell'origine dati indicata dalla DataSource proprietà . Il campo specificato viene utilizzato per popolare la DataKeys raccolta. In questo modo è possibile archiviare il campo chiave con un controllo elenco di dati senza visualizzarlo nel controllo . Il campo chiave viene comunemente usato in un gestore per un evento, ad esempio ItemCommand o DeleteCommand, come parte di una stringa di query di aggiornamento per modificare un record specifico nell'origine dati.
