Nell'esempio seguente viene illustrato come utilizzare la SortExpression proprietà per determinare quale colonna in un GridView controllo viene ordinata. Se l'utente tenta di ordinare la colonna dell'indirizzo, l'operazione di ordinamento viene annullata.

Quando viene generato l'evento Sorting , è possibile utilizzare la SortExpression proprietà per determinare l'espressione di ordinamento che verrà utilizzata per ordinare il controllo quando viene eseguita l'operazione GridView di ordinamento. Per impostazione predefinita, il GridView controllo ordina una singola colonna alla volta. L'espressione di ordinamento contiene semplicemente il nome del campo da ordinare. È anche possibile ordinare più colonne alla volta impostando questa proprietà a livello di codice su un elenco delimitato da virgole di nomi di campo.
