Il Clone metodo è particolarmente utile in combinazione con .XPathNodeIterator Viene XPathNodeIterator usato per eseguire l'iterazione su un set di nodi selezionato e contiene una proprietà che restituisce una CurrentXPathNavigator posizione nel nodo di contesto dell'oggetto XPathNodeIterator. Tuttavia, il XPathNavigator restituito dalla Current proprietà non può essere usato per allontanarsi dal set di nodi. Si clona invece l'oggetto restituito e si usa lo strumento di navigazione clonato XPathNavigator per eseguire eventuali spostamenti aggiuntivi.

Il clonato XPathNavigator non è interessato dalle modifiche successive apportate all'originale XPathNavigator.
