Parameters:

xmlReader - The XmlReader being read.

Returns:

An instance of BlobMetrics if the XmlReader was pointing to an instance of it, or null if it was pointing to XML null.

Throws:

XMLStreamException

 - If the deserialized XML object was missing any required properties.
