このプロパティを使用すると、郵便番号や電話番号などの値に対してコントロールに入力されるテキストの長さを制限できます。 このプロパティを使用して、データをデータベースに格納するときに入力されるテキストの長さを制限して、コントロールに入力されたテキストがデータベース内の対応するフィールドの最大長を超えないようにすることもできます。

このプロパティは、プログラムによって追加される文字には影響しません。

このプロパティを 0 に設定すると、コントロールに入力できるテキストの最大長は、使用可能なメモリによってのみ制限されます。
