Status Field, Phys. Invt. Recording Header Table
This fields shows if the physical inventory recording is still open or already finished.
If the status is Open, you can make changes to the physical inventory recording and its lines.
If the physical inventory recording has been already finished, it cannot be changed.
To finish a physical inventory recording, choose Functions, Finish, or Ctrl+F11.
If you finish the physical inventory recording, Microsoft Dynamics NAV will summarize the recorded quantities for the items and write them back to the appropriate physical inventory order lines. Every line of the physical inventory recording will be linked to a line of the physical inventory order line and their field Qty. Recorded (Base) will be raised by the value of the field Quantity (Base) from the physical inventory recording line.
You can reopen the document if you want to make changes to its contents by choosing Functions, Reopen.
This is only possible, if the field Status of the physical inventory order, the physical inventory recording is linked to, is still Open.
