O exemplo de código a seguir exibe informações do cliente em um TreeView controle. Os nós de árvore raiz exibem nomes de clientes e os nós de árvore filho exibem os números de pedido atribuídos a cada cliente. Neste exemplo, 1.000 clientes são exibidos com 15 pedidos cada. A repinção do TreeView é suprimida usando os métodos e EndUpdate os BeginUpdate métodos, e uma espera Cursor é exibida enquanto os TreeView cria e pinta os TreeNode objetos. Este exemplo exige que você tenha um Customer objeto que possa conter uma coleção de Order objetos. Para manter o desempenho enquanto os itens são adicionados um de cada vez ao TreeViewmétodo, chame o BeginUpdate método. O BeginUpdate método impede que o controle pinte até que o EndUpdate método seja chamado.

A maneira preferencial de adicionar itens a um controle de exibição de árvore é usar o AddRange método para adicionar uma matriz de itens de nó de árvore a uma exibição de árvore. No entanto, se você quiser adicionar itens um de cada vez, use o BeginUpdate método para impedir que o TreeView controle seja pintado durante as operações de adição. Para permitir que o controle retome a pintura, chame o EndUpdate método quando todos os nós de árvore tiverem sido adicionados ao modo de exibição de árvore.
