Присвойте параметру CacheOption значение , BitmapCacheOption.OnLoad если вы хотите закрыть поток, используемый BitmapImageдля создания . Параметр кэша по умолчанию OnDemand сохраняет доступ к потоку до тех пор, пока образ не потребуется, а очистка выполняется сборщиком мусора.
