Good news. It looks like Microsoft released a new update for Microsoft 365 Apps Update Current Channel Version on 2/16. I was successfully able to download and deploy that 32bit and 64bit update.
Configuration Manager Cannot download Microsoft 365 Apps from 2/9 release
We are running Config Manager 2010 and are getting an Error: Failed to download content id 17836855. Error: Invalid certificate signature.
This is not happening on the older release Microsoft 365 Apps Update.
This issue looks to be the exact same that was experienced last November/December and the "solution" was to Uninstall October 2020 Update KB4577668.
Then there was a hotfix that came out for Config Manager that resolved this.

The following Updates where successfully downloaded:

Microsoft 365 Apps Update - Semi-Annual Enterprise Channel Version 2002 for x86 based Edition (Build 12527.21594)
Microsoft 365 Apps Update - Semi-Annual Enterprise Channel (Preview) Version 2008 for x86 based Edition (Build 13127.21216)Only the Current Channel 2101 Update run into the error "Failed to download content id 16895265. Error: Invalid certificate signature"
In the PatchDownloader.log I see this errors:
Download http://officecdn.microsoft.com/pr/492350f6-3a01-4f97-b9c0-c7c6ddf67d60/office/data/16.0.13628.20380/i320.c2rx to C:\Users{UserID}\AppData\Local\Temp\CABFEDB.tmp.c2rx returns 0
Using machine settings for CRL checking.
Cert revocation check is disabled so cert revocation list will not be checked.
To enable cert revocation check use: UpdDwnldCfg.exe /checkrevocation
Verifying file trust C:\Users{UserID}\AppData\Local\Temp\CABFEDB.tmp.c2rx
Authentication of file C:\Users{UserID}\AppData\Local\Temp\CABFEDB.tmp.c2rx failed, error 0x800b0004

1.If possible, please install the latest hotfix of SCCM 2010 to have a try.
2.Please check the PatchDownloader.log to see if there is any further information. This log will record details about the process of downloading software updates from the update source to the download destination on the site server.
