SharePoint 2010 workflow duration time

If an approver did not respond to an list item approval in SharePoint 2010 workflow, how long it will stay as in progress. Is there any expiry time like 30 days or 90 days etc.

Hi all, Path "C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\SF\Log\Traces" having more and more size, containing files type of ETL and Trace. C drive now having very less spaces. Can I delete all of them? Will the deletion impact on Workflow?
